let's go, it's time to eat

as you can see in this photo my new food is toe curling delicious! i can almost hold my own bottle. i just love my brown rice cereal, a nice change from milk. bibs are not enough coverage so mom wraps me in a tea towel. how nice i get to eat on top of the table.

labor day

A few friends had a great time camping at Lake Red Rock over the Labor Day Holiday. The weather was perfect to sleep outside under the stars. Here you see Mom and I just waking up.

a growing boy

guess what? i'm now 4 months old! i'm adjusting to mom being away at work, however it hasn't slowed our fun. last week, dad and i went to the iowa state fair even though mom didn't think i would have any fun at such a young age. i hope you are having a great summer and stop in for a visit if you are ever close to my house!


do you like my little chum onesie? it's my favorite from auntie kasey + sydney. finally it fits perfectly!

we should probably save a few things for when owen is older and can remember how fun his parents are, but life is too short! we took on three days of ragbrai this season and as you can see here aunt fran, kate and owen are stretching out after our first night tenting. owen slept like a champ, despite the trains rolling through town on the hour, the band and the guys chatting through the night on the porch just next to our tent...the true ragbrai experience! the rest of us were a bit blurry eyed but well worth the adventure!
