the simple things

owen has been quite busy entertaining us with his creative and expanding mind. here is a little snapshot of a morning in our world before departing for judy's. life is too short not to stop and embrace the little things that make us smile. next i must capture a sound byte of owen talking to eloise "hey now, you little stinker nut" and followed by "eloise, you sure are somethin' else"

my first season of bike racing

daddy loves to race is bike and is really fast.  the best part is the kids race - just for me. on our way to the race, eloise, mommy and i were driving down the 235 and i started crying because mommy had left my helmet in the burley (thank goodness our kids are sharp + remind us of the details. helmets are required and would have been devastating to my three year old).

see you at the next race

Between loading the stroller with essentials (diaper bag, snacks, blanket, balls) and timing our departure to coincide with Junior’s nap, getting to the playground is no day at the park.
